Dear Parents,
I
would like to thank all the parents for making our Thanksgiving feast such a
success. Thanks for everything you sent
in for it and thanks for coming today and watching your child. The kids really enjoyed being Pilgrims and Indians. It was nice for them to see what the first
Thanksgiving was like after we learned about it.

Reminders
- Please
don’t forget to write your child’s name in coats, hats, and mittens. The weather is beginning to turn cold
(well on some days) and the students sometimes forget what they wore to
school. It makes it easier to find
their items when their name is on it.
- Don’t
forget to send in water bottles & snack daily.
- Please
don’t forget to send a towel back on Monday.
- We sent
home the scholastic flyers for December.
Orders will be due by Friday December 2nd. There are more flyers online, so don’t
forget to check those out. These
orders will be back before the kids leave for Christmas. So be sure to look through the flyers
for great deals for books to give as Christmas presents.
- Please
don’t forget to send in your item for the making of the gingerbread houses
by Wednesday November 30th.
Also, if you would like to help with the gingerbread houses, please
come to school about 12:00 and if you could send me an email letting me
know you are going to come that would be great.
- If you
are finished with your reading log for November, you can send it on
Monday. All reading logs need to be
turned in by Friday December 2nd for November. If you are doing
it on the Book-It site you don’t have to turn in a reading log.
- The National Junior Honor Society is assisting in
the Angel Tree this year. The Drive will end December 2nd. We are
asking all students K-12 to help us by bringing in the following items:
• Toothpaste
• Body Wash
• Shampoo
• Lotion
• Laundry Detergent
• Dish Detergent
• Toilet Paper
• Paper Towels
• Non-perishable Food Items
Needed Items
- For one
of our Christmas crafts, we will need gallon jugs. Please send in any gallon jugs you
have. You can begin sending them in
after the break. Once we get enough
I will let you know. Please clean
out the jugs and take any labels off.
- I am also
in need of copy paper. If anyone
would like to send in a pack that would be great!
